The bits clients actually ask.
How are your quotes structured?
Every quote is fixed-price and itemised — labour, materials, contingency, VAT all called out separately. If something changes mid-project (a wall you wanted to keep turns out to be rotten), you get a written variation before any extra work happens.
Can we live in the house during the work?
Usually yes for single-room or kitchen refurbs (we dust-seal the area). For whole-home renovations we recommend moving out for at least the first six weeks — we'll help with the planning.
How long does a typical renovation take?
A single bathroom takes 3–4 weeks, a kitchen 4–6, a whole-home renovation 12–20 weeks depending on structural work. You'll get a week-by-week Gantt chart with your quote.
Do you handle planning & building control?
Yes — for extensions and loft conversions we coordinate directly with your architect (or refer one of ours), submit the building-control packs, and book inspections at each stage.
What guarantees do you offer?
6 months on single-room jobs, 12 months on whole-home renovations, 2 years on extensions and loft conversions. Compliance certificates for all electrical and plumbing work are included.
How do payments work?
Staged payments tied to physical milestones — never a calendar date. A small deposit on signing, then payments on strip-out, first-fix, second-fix, and snag-list sign-off.
